CA Foundation May 2026

CA Foundation exam 2026 for May session will begin from tomorrow at allotted exam centres. The mode examination is offline and has been scheduled for 14, 16, 18 and 20 May 2026. Candidates taking the examination must take the hard copy of their admit card and a valid photo ID proof to the exam centre with them for verification. CA admit card May 2026 is available for download at icai.org. Students must ensure to follow all guidelines and instructions to avoid getting disqualified. Also, any kind of unfair means is not acceptable.

Check below to know the items allowed and prohibited at CA Foundation exam centre:

Items Allowed:

• Admit Card
• Photo ID Proof
• Ball point pen
• Passport size photo
• Battery Operated Calculator

Note: The calculator can be of any type upto 6 functions, 12 digits and upto two memories.

Items Prohibited:

• Books/notebooks/loose paper
• Eletronic items 
• Phone/headphones/earphones
• Bags/valuables
• Eatables 

CA Foundation 2026: Exam Day Guidelines

Follow below guidelines while appearing for CA Foundation exam:

• Entry time at exam centre is 1:15 PM.
• Late entry up to 15 minutes is allowed for all papers.
• Advance reading time of 15 minutes will be given in Paper 1 & 2 only.
• Early exit is not allowed.
• Make an exam day bag and put important documents in it, so you don't forget on exam day.

Note: Though late entry is allowed, candidates are advised to reach the exam centre at least one hour before the exam time.
