CA May 2026 Admit Card
The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India has released CA Admit Card May 2026 for Intermediate and Final exams. Candidates who registered for the examination by last date can now download their hall ticket to appear for the exam at SSP login portal. Candidates have to login using their SSP number and password to download admit card. It is a mandatory document that a candidate must take with them to the examination centre. ICAI has yet to release CA Foundation admit card. Once released, the information will be shared here.

- Go to ICAI's eservice portal: eservices
- Click on the link indicating 'Intermediate/Final/Foundation admit card'
- Log in using login ID (SSP number) and password
- Click on the tab indicating admit card
- Download the CA Inter admit card and save as PDF

What if I forget to take my CA admit card to exam hall?
The exam centres will not allow candidates to sit in the examination if they do not present hard copy of their admit card. Also, candidates are required to take their hall ticket with them on all exam days.

ICAI has released CA 2026 admit card for May session for Intermediate and Final exam at eservices portal.
Commonly asked questions
Students can carry only the CA Final admit card, photo ID, passport size photo and a blue/black ball point pen. No other item is allowed for the CA exam. Candidates need to keep in mind that they must not carry any electronic item like phone, watch, earphone, Bluetooth device etc. They must also not wear any outfit or accessory having metal while visiting the CA Final test centre on the exam days.
No, the digital copy of CA Final admit card is not accepted as a valid document at the exam centre. The CA Final admit card has to be signed and stamped by the invigilator for attendance purpose, thus, students have to carry hard copy of the admit card. Students must carry two copies of the CA Final admit card on exam days.
Usually, an individual takes about 3 to 5 attempts to clear the CA Final exam. The course level is too difficult to crack in the first attempt. The overall CA Final pass percentage of any session is usually between 20-25 percent only. It is mainly due to the fact that one needs to clear both groups of the CA Final course. The vastness of CA Final syllabus makes it difficult to crack it in the first attempt.

If a candidate forgets to carry their CA Final admit card to the exam centre, they will not be allowed to enter the examination hall. Admit Card is a mandatory document of registered candidated. Along with hall ticket, candidates have to also take an ID proof with them. The CA Final admit card is released on official website, at least 10 days before the exam.
The time duration of ICAI CA exams varies for each paper. For some papers, the duration is three hours whereas for some papers it is two hours. The time limit of CA Foundation paper 3 and 4 is two hours and for rest of the papers across levels is three hours. There is no sectional time limit in CA exams.
It is not easy, yet not impossible to crack CA Intermediate exam without coaching. If a student is determined, disciplined and fully dedicated towards CA Inter exam preparation, she/she can crack it with self-study.

The difficulty level of CA Foundation syllabus can be considered lower than CA Intermediate and CA Final but it is challenging as the syllabus is vast. Since it is the beginner's level course, it has topics that requires understanding of core concepts and principles. Given the extremely low pass percentage, CA Foundation is definitely not easy. It requires conceptual clarity of a number of topics related to business, accounting, taxation, laws, etc. and rigorous practice.
Yes, ICAI provides comprehensive study material for CA Foundation preparation. The study material includes books, sample papers, practice test papers, mock tests, online classes and much more. Registered students can enroll at BoS to avail study material offered by the ICAI. Students must also refer to CA Foundation books and study material available in the market for preparation.
