CFA is offered by the CFA Institute based in US. It focuses on finance, valuation, portfolio management and global markets. The duration is about 2 to 4 years and has three levels. CFA graduates can build a career in equity, investment banking, wealth management, etc. The course needs students to know advanced maths and global finance. 

CS is offered by ICSI and focuses on company law, governance, compliance and legalities. It has three levels too, CSEET, Executive and Professional. The duration is three to 5 years and is easier than CFA. CS graduates work with the board of directors, handle regulations, legalities of company, and corporate restructures. 

The salary of CFA in India is between INR 6 LPA to INR 25 LPA and of CS is between INR 3 LPA to INR 10 LPA.
