Bihar Board Extends Class 10 and 12 Exam form Deadline; Schools asked to Complete Process

Schools can now fill in the examination forms for their students and complete fee payment through the Bihar Board official portals until October 22 for class 10 and Class 12 exams

The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has once again extended deadline for submission of online examination forms for the 2026 Class 10 (Matric) and Class 12 (Intermediate) board exams. BSEB has asked schools and students to make use of final opportunity to complete exam registration process without any delay.

In its official statement, BSEB has stated that the extension has been provided in view of requests from school heads and students who were unable to complete their registrations within earlier deadline. The board has emphasized that no further extension will be granted after this window closes.

In an official tweets, BSEB wrote (translated from Hindi):“The last date for filling online examination forms for the Matric and Intermediate Annual Examination 2026 has been extended. Schools must ensure that the registration and fee submission are completed within the revised schedule.”

As per the revised schedule, schools can now fill in the examination forms for their students and complete fee payment through the official portals until October 22 for class 10 and Class 12, also called intermediate. The board has also asked schools to verify all student details carefully before final submission to avoid errors in admit cards later.

The BSEB also reiterated that only those students whose dummy registration cards have been verified and corrected would be eligible to appear for the 2026 board exams. Principals have been directed to ensure that data entry, document uploads, and payments are completed in one go to prevent incomplete submissions.

This is the second time the Bihar Board has extended exam form deadline for the upcoming board exams in 2026.
