Breaking: CBSE Postpones March 5 & 6 Exams in Middle East; Know Who's Affected?

CBSE Board exam dates 2026 have been postponed in middle east. The exams, originally set for March 5 & 6 will be conducted on a later date. The board will announce the revised CBSE exam dates 2026 shortly at the official website. 

CBSE Board Exam Dates 2026: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has postponed the class 10 and 12 board exams for Middle East countries. The examination, earlier scheduled for March 5 and 6, 2026, has been postponed. These exams will be conducted on revised dates, which will be announced later. The Board will review the situation on Thursday, 05 March 2026 and take necessary decisions for examinations scheduled from March 7, 2026, onwards. Meanwhile, the board have advised students to remain in contact with their respective schools and follow CBSE official website for updates on further announcements.

CBSE Board Exam 2026 Postponed: Reason for Postponement

The Board has postponed the dates for "critical review of the current situation". The Middle Eastern country has seen heightened tensions following discrepancies between the United States, Israel, and Iran. This has raised concerns regarding student safety and the shifting of examination materials. 

CBSE Board Exam Dates 2026 Postponed: Who is Affected? 

This decision for the postponement of exams is limited to the Middle Eastern countries. The CBSE issued a fresh circular saying that the postponement applies to seven countries, i.e. Bahrain, Iran, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

Revised Dates Soon

CBSE will soon announce the class 10 and 12 exam dates for affected students. The board will release the schedule for these exam dates at cbse.nic.in.
