BSEB Extends Last Date for Bihar Board Class 10 Compartment and Special Exams 2026 Application

The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has extended the last date to apply for the Bihar Board Class 10th Special Exam and Compartment Exam 2026. Students who have not filled the can now submit their application forms and pay the required fees till April 10, 2026. Earlier, the window for BSEB Matric application form was open from April 1 to April 7. However, the board has decided to extend the deadline after receiving requests from students and schools.

Students must fill out the Bihar Board class 10 compartment exams application forms through their respective schools before the last date.

Bihar Board Class 10 Compartment and Special Exams 2026: Second Chance for Students

The Special and Compartment Exams are expected to be conducted in May 2026 for Class 10 students who failed in one or more subjects or could not appear in the main board exams. Students who want to improve their marks can also apply to appear for the Bihar Board Matric special exams. The board organise BSEB Class 10th compartment/supplementary exams to give the students second chance to pass in the exam without losing a full academic year.

To pass the BSEB 10th final test, students should get a minimum of 30% in all individual subjects. However, the students are not required to score a minimum mark in English subject to pass the Bihar Board 10th exams. From the last year, the board is also considering a grace marking scheme for those who obtain 8 marks less than the minimum required marks. For such students, the board has the provision to award a maximum of 8 marks as grace and save them from failing.

BSEB 10th timetable 2026 was released on November 29, 2025. The board releases the BSEB Matric Time Table 2026 online on the board's website at biharboardonline.bihar.gov.in. BSEB 10th time table 2026 mentions the exam date for each subject, exam timing, reporting time, and more. After announcing the BSEB class 10 time table, the board will also release the dummy admit card. The students will be allowed to report 30 minutes before the commencement of the BSEB class 10th exams.
