Central Board of Secondary Education activated the window for obtaining the scanned copies of CBSE 10th answer key on Aug 5. The last date to apply for it is August 9.
The Central Board of Secondary Education activated the portal for obtaining the scanned copies of CBSE 10th answer key. The last date to apply for it is August 9. Students can apply for verification of marks, revaluation and both verification and revaluation from August 16 to 19. The fee for obtaining scanned answer copy and verification is INR 300. The fee for revaluation is INR 100. Students who appeared in both the Main and Second Board Examinations can avail this facility.

How to Apply for Obtaining CBSE Class 10 answer sheet photocopy?
The process to apply for answer sheet photocopy is given below.
- Candidates are required to first apply for scanned copy of evaluated answer book by visiting board’s website
- This will show how answers were evaluated and marks were given to students
- The application should submit correct details
- The scanned answer book will be made available on candidate’s login
- After examining the scanned answer book, the candidate may apply for verification of marks and/or re-evaluation
CBSE 10th Revaluation 2026: Important Points
Some of the important points related to revaluation are given below.
- For a subject taken in both examinations (main and second board), a student may obtain both answer books. But verification and/or re-evaluation can be requested for only one answer book either the Main or the second board answer book
- Revaluation process is online
- The fee can only be paid online (UPI/Credit/Debit Card/Net Banking)
- Only a single application for each step per candidate will be accepted in the online process
- A decrease of marks, even by one mark, is affected
- In cases where there is a change in marks (both increase and decrease), such candidates are required to surrender the Mark Statement cum Certificate which is in their possession. Thereafter, they will be issued a new Mark Statement cum Certificate.
- Fee will be refunded in case of increase in marks after verification and/or re-evaluation in the same account from which it was paid
