A parliamentary panel has summoned officials of Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on June 2 to discuss related to issues faced by students due to newly introduced on-screen marking system and the implementation of three-language formula in Classes 9 and 10. The committee will meet School Education Secretary Sanjay Kumar and CBSE Chairperson Rahul Singh to review the use of OSM in CBSE Class 12 exams and issues faced by students consequently. It will also review the application of three language formula in Class 9 and 10.

This moves comes amid complaints from students and parents over technical glitches in the CBSE revaluation portal and concerns raised regarding lower than expected marks due to OSM.

Union Education Minister Holds Meeting with Officials of Four PSBs

Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan met the officials of four PSBs, deputed to assist CBSE to strengthen the payment gateway. The Minister discussed about building student-friendly payment ecosystem, particularly for post-examination services such as re-evaluation, obtaining photocopies of answer sheets, and other fee-based processes.

Q:   What is CBSE Class 12th marking scheme?

CBSE 12th marking scheme for is such that 80 marks are allotted for Theory and 20 marks for Internal Assessment. The marking scheme for Science subjects have 70 marks and 30 for practicals.

If you are not satisfied with the marks, you can apply for revaluation or rechecking of the paper. The marks awarded after the rechecking/revaluation shall be considered as the final marks. Then a new marksheet will be issued to you thereafter.

Students must solve and practice the CBSE 12th question papers of previous years' to know the marking scheme, the types of questions asked in the exam, gauge the difficulty level and more. 

It is advised that students solve and practice the CBSE sample papers to ace the board examinations.

Union Education Minister deputed team of IIT experts to examine the glitches in the revaluation portal. The team is working on the same. While giving an interview to media, IIT Madras Director V Kamakoti said that the team has started examining the recent glitches, including payment failures and allegations related to answer sheet uploads. The primary focus is to determine the exact cause of the disruption. The portal had remained stable for the last 72 hours-plus.

Researcher Nisarga Adhikary Warned CBSE about Flaws in OSM

A 19-year old cybersecurity researcher’s post alleging serious flaws in CBSE’s on screen marking portal is drawing attention on internet. Researcher Nisarga Adhikary claimed he found major vulnerabilities inside the board's On-Screen Marking portal and reported them to CERT-In in February.

CBSE Released Class 12th Marking Scheme & Answer Key

Amid concerns by students, the board released the marking scheme & answer key. Students can download these from cbse.gov.in. They can use while checking the answer sheet photocopy.

Cancel the plus two results and re announce the plus two score cards after materialistic correction of answer papers., why CBSE making re evaluation of some students if entire results are osm untrained school teachers, they are not soft ware engineers, scanning errors correction errors uplaod errors
