CBSE 12th Re-Evaluation Result 2026: Central Board of Secondary Education declared Class 12 re-evaluation results on June 21. Further, revised marks have changed CBSE class 12 merit list. After re-evaluation, three students from Jharkhand obtained top positions in all three streams. Avani Kejriwal became topper in Commerce, Aditya Mishra emerged as joint national topper in Science and Bhavya Ranjan retained her top position in Arts stream with 99.8%.

Avani Kejriwal from Ranchi saw improvement in her marks after applying for CBSE 12th re-evaluation. In original class 12 result announced on May 13, she had scored 95.2%. She applied for re-evaluation in English, Business Studies and Graphics, and her scores increased in all three subjects, making her national Commerce topper.

In Science stream, Aditya Mishra of Delhi Public School, Bokaro, also benefited from CBSE 12th class re-evaluation result. His overall percentage increased from 99.20% to 99.60%, helping him become a joint topper alongside Sonakshi Goyal of Kanpur.

Students can check their CBSE compartment result 2026 using their login credentials as mentioned in the CBSE 10th admit card 2026 for compartment exams. It should be noted that the CBSE compartment result 2026 class 10 released online is provisional in nature. Students will need to collect the original mark sheet from their schools respectively. 

Q:   Does CBSE deduct marks for lengthy answers?
A: 

No, CBSE does not deduct marks for exceeding the word limit in the board exams. However, marks may be deducted for spelling mistakes and other errors in language papers. 

Bhavya Ranjan of Oxford Public School, Ranchi, continued to lead Arts stream with 99.8%. She had already obtained top rank when original CBSE Class 12 results were announced in May. With Avani, Aditya and Bhavya, Jharkhand has emerged as top-performing state across all three CBSE Class 12 streams this year.
