Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan sought a detailed report from CBSE related to the controversy in the revaluation process. The board has said that it will refund the revaluation amount deducted due to a technical glitch.
Following CBSE 12th revaluation controversy, Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan sought detailed report from Central Board of Secondary Education. The Minister flagged server downtime and payment gateway failures. Pradhan directed the concerned authorities to explain the reasons for the technical failure, preparedness measures that were or were not in place, accountability of agencies managing revaluation process. CBSE has taken note of the payment issues where excess payment was taken, and somewhere a lesser amount was charged for re-evaluation. The board said that in case of excess payment, the extra amount that was deducted will be refunded to students. On the other hand, in case of lower payment, board will share the payment information separately with students.
The scanned CBSE 12th answer sheet photocopy 2026 will be provided in all such cases without candidates being required to submit fresh requests. CBSE Scanned copy 2026 link will expire today. The fee for obtaining photocopy of answer sheet is INR 100. The revaluation process will begin from May 26.

- Visit the CBSE website
- You’ll find an option to request a photocopy of your answer sheet
- Click on it to start the application
- Fill in Your Details-Roll Number, Class, Subjects for which you want the photocopy
- Payment must be made online through the portal
- Once CBSE processes your request, a scanned copy of your answer sheet will be uploaded
- Download it and review it carefully
