CBSE has release tentative datesheet of Class 10 and Class 12
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the tentative datesheet for the Class 10 and Class 12 board examinations 2026. As per the schedule, Class 10 exams will commence on February 17, 2026, while Class 12 exams will also start on February 17, 2026. The board has also outlined dates for the second examination and compartment papers, scheduled between mid-May and early June 2026.
CBSE Class 10 Exam Dates
The CBSE in its datesheet has mentioned, the Class 10 board exams will begin on February 17 with Mathematics (Basic and Standard). English exam will be on Feb 21, Science on Feb 25, Hindi on March 2.
February 17, 2026: Mathematics (Basic and Standard)
February 18, 2026: Retail, Security, Automotive, Intro. to Fin Markets, Agriculture, Food Production, Front Office Operations, Banking & Insurance, Health Care, Apparel, Multi media, Data Science, Electronics and Hardware, Foundation skill for Science. Design Thinking and Innovation
February 20, 2026: Beauty, Marketing & Sales, Physical Activities Trainer
February 21, 2026: English (Communicative, English (Language and Laiterature)
February 23, 2026: French
February 25, 2026: Science
February 26, 2026: Home Science
February 27, 2026: Computer Application, IT, AI
March 02, 2026: Hindi Course- A, Hindi Course- B
March 07, 2026: Social Science.
Exams conclude with languages and compartment papers between May 15 and June 1, 2026.

CBSE Second Examination & Compartment Schedule
The 2nd Examination and Compartment papers for both Class 10 and Class 12 will be conducted from May 15 to June 1, 2026.
CBSE released the tentative CBSE Class 10 date sheet 2026 for Phase 1 and 2 exams on September 24, 2025 on the official website. Students can click on the link provided to check the detailed date sheet.
The CBSE Class 10 exams 2026 Phase 1 shall be conducted between February 17 and March 9, 2026. Phase 2 of CBSE 10 class exams 2026 will be conducted between May 15 and June 1, 2026.
