CBSE 12th board exams 2026 will commence from next week. Students appearing for exam can check CBSE class 12th datesheet and guidelines provided on this page.
CBSE Board Exam 2026: Central Board of Secondary Education will commence CBSE class 12th Science, Commerce & Arts exam from February 17, 2026. The board has already released detailed CBSE 12th date sheet along with important exam day guidelines to ensure smooth conduct of board exam. Students appearing for CBSE Class 12 board exams are advised to go through complete schedule and follow all instructions issued by the board to avoid last-minute confusion.
According to official schedule class 12th exams will be covering all major and elective subjects across Science, Commerce, and Arts streams. CBSE board exams will be conducted in single shift from 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM. Students will get additional 15 minutes before the start of exam to read the question paper.

Exam Day Instructions for CBSE Class 12th Students
CBSE has issued important guidelines that students must follow
- Students must carry their CBSE admit card and school ID card to exam centre.
- They should reach the exam centre at least 30 minutes before reporting time mentioned on admit card.
- Electronic devices such as mobile phones, smartwatches, Bluetooth devices, calculators (unless permitted), and other communication gadgets are prohibited inside exam hall.
- Students must wear their school uniform and follow the dress code.
- No unfair means or malpractice will be tolerated. Anyone found violating rules may face strict action under CBSE’s exam bye-laws.
Instructions for CBSE 12th Schools and Centres
The board has also directed schools and exam centres to ensure proper seating arrangements, availability of drinking water, clean washrooms and adherence to security protocols. Invigilators have been instructed to verify students details thoroughly before allowing entry into exam hall.
