CBSE Class 12 Physics Results 2026: Central Board of Secondary Education announced CBSE 12th result 2026 on May 13. After the announcement of result, several students took to social media complaining about the less marks awarded to them in Physics despite the paper being tough. Some students cleared JEE mains but failed in CBSE 12th 2026. They also want CBSE to show leniency in Class 12 CBSE revaluation 2026 and this should be free of cost. Students and parents raised questions on the digital evaluation process that affected marks. In this year’s CBSE 12th exam 2026, only 96 students secured a perfect 100 in Physics. Even students are demanding for re-test.

If you fail in CBSE Class 12th exam in one or two subjects, they are placed in Compartment category. Students can retake those exams in July/August to pass. Failing in more than two subjects results in a 'Essential Repeat' requiring them to repeat the academic year and retake all exams.

On the result day, the Controller of Examination congratulated the successful candidates and said that evaluation process had been carried out in a fair manner. Students can appear for improvement exam if not satisfied with marks. They can also apply for re-evaluation. The post result declaration process will begin from May 18, 2026.

Students who are not satisfied with their marks can apply for Class 12 CBSE revaluation 2026. As CBSE has digitally evaluated answer book, there is no scope for totaling and posting errors. However, re-evaluation facilities will be same as previous year.
