CBSE Class 12 Re-Evaluation Results 2026: Several CBSE Class 12 students have witnessed increase in their board exam marks after Central Board of Secondary Education announced CBSE re-evaluation results. The revised marks have reshaped merit list, with many of them improving their percentages and new stream toppers emerging.
CBSE 12th re-evaluation result come amid concerns over implementation of On-Screen Marking (OSM) system, which was introduced this academic session. Students had reported many discrepancies during evaluation that includes blurry scanned answer sheets, missing pages, absent maps and graphs and answers being checked using incorrect marking schemes.

One of the notable improvements was recorded by Soumili Maitra of SAI International Residential School, whose Humanities score increased from 98.6% to 99.2% after re-evaluation. The revised marks made her regional topper across Odisha, West Bengal, and Chhattisgarh.
CBSE revised results also led to changes in national merit list. Avani Kejriwal obtained the top position in Commerce stream, Aditya Mishra emerged as joint national topper in Science and Bhavya Ranjan retained her position as Arts topper with 99.8%.
