The link will be live at cbse.gov.in. The form is for 12th Class and 10th Class students. The board put up a notice on the List of Candidates for the 2026-27 session. The board will give a separate notice for private candidates. Last year the form filling started on September 9. The last date was September 30. Students could also apply from October 3 to October 11 with a late fee. The late fee was INR 2,000 per candidate. The 2027 dates will come in the board's notice. CBSE Private Candidate Application 2027 Will Have Its Own Portal
The LOC circular for the 2027 Main Exams says the online portal for private candidates will open separately. So private students will not apply through the school LOC system. They will fill the form on their own.

The CBSE home page has a separate 'Private Candidate' box. Right now, it only carries the link for the Class 12 Supplementary Examination 2026. The link for the 2027 form will be added there when the board opens it.
