Candidates seeking admission to PG management programmes across the Indian Institutes of Management must complete their submission on the official website, iimcat.ac.in. Candidates must ensure that all sections of the CAT 2026 application form, document uploads, and online fee payments are completed before the CAT registration deadline.

Things to Check Before CAT 2026 Last Date to Apply

Aspirants completing their CAT registration 2026 must ensure that all application stages are completed before the CAT 2026 registration deadline:

• Application Fee Payment: Candidates in the General, EWS, and NC-OBC categories must pay an application fee of INR 2,700, while SC, ST, and PwBD candidates pay INR 1,350. The CAT 2026 form fee is payable online through the BillDesk gateway using UPI, Net Banking, Credit Card, or Debit Card, and is strictly non-refundable.
• Verify Personal and Academic Data: The candidate's name and date of birth must match Class 10 records. Marks for Class 10, Class 12, and undergraduate degrees must be entered accurately according to official conversion norms.
• Document Specifications: Applicants must upload a recent passport-size photograph with a solid white background (1200 x 1200 pixels, up to 80 KB) and a scanned signature (80mm x 35mm, up to 80 KB).
• Test City and Programme Preferences: Candidates must choose five test city choices in order of priority from the drop-down menu. Besides test cities, candidates have to select IIM programme preferences.
• Preview and Submission: Candidates must click the preview option and accept the declaration checkbox before final payment.

NOTE: In case of errors in any of the details entered, candidates must fill a fresh application form before the last date. The CAT form correction window does not provide the facility to edit the personal information. Candidates will be provided the form correction facility to update the uploaded images and change the test city preferences.

What after CAT Registration Last Date 2026

Soon after the CAT 2026 application last date, an official correction window is scheduled to open tentatively in the first week of October 2026. This facility is available to applicants who have successfully paid the fee and submitted their CAT exam form before the deadline. The edit window permits modifications only to specific elements, such as the uploaded photograph, signature, and test city preferences. All applicants will be issued the CAT 2026 admit cards on November 4, 2026.
