Centre notified Supreme Court that a fresh policy has been notified to address the concerns of private CBSE class 12 students from the West Asian countries whose board exams were cancelled due to the recent middle east tension. CBSE Special Assessment Scheme

The Centre notified Supreme Court that a fresh policy has been notified to address the concerns of private CBSE class 12 students from the West Asian countries whose board exams were cancelled due to the recent middle east tension. The new CBSE special assessment scheme aims to resolve issues faced by private candidates whose results could not be declared earlier under the assessment framework earlier formulated for regular school students.

What is CBSE Assessment Scheme for Gulf Students?

Under the new CBSE assessment scheme, for subjects where Class 12 examinations could not be conducted. Marks will be calculated using 40 per cent of the theory marks obtained in the Class 10 board exams as well as 60 per cent of the theory marks secured in the Class 12 board exams.

For evaluation of Class 10 performance, the average of top three scoring subjects is used. This is normalised against maximum marks of each subject. Class 10 theory marks is computed taking into consideration the average of best three performing subjects out of the main five subjects. This average is uniformly awarded which is subject to allotment of maximum marks to all Class 12 subjects whose examinations could not be conducted. Practical/ project/ internal assessment marks remains unchanged.

CBSE 12th Revaluation Result 2026

CBSE 12 th revaluation result was announced on June 21. This year, the board introduced major change by introducing physical checking of answer books where no change in marks were observed. The board through FAQs have answered all queries related to revaluation result.
