The Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education (HPBoSE) has suspended an examination superintendent after a video surfaced showing mass cheating during the HPBOSE Class 12 biology exam 2026. The video clip on social media shows an individual is dictating answers for multiple choice questions (MCQs) within the school premises during the examination.
The board has also shifted an entire exam centre in Kangra district following the reports of mass copying. The students are shifted to some other centre. So far, the board has registered 27 unfair cases across the state in the ongoing board examinations.
HPBOSE Class 12 Revised Exam Pattern 2026
HPBOSE Class 12 exam pattern was revised by the board. To eliminate the difference in the difficulty level and cheating, the HP Board introduced Identical question papers for all the students appearing in the exam. There are three series of question papers-A, B and C. The questions are identical but the sequence is jumbled. From this year, multiple-choice questions (MCQs) are introduced in the question paper. This accounts for 20 per cent of the total marks in each paper of the HPBOSE Class 12 exam.
