ISC, ICSE Result 2025 Revaluation: The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) has officially discontinued compartment exams for the Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE - Class 10) and Indian School Certificate (ISC - Class 12) board examinations from 2024 onwards. For the 2025 board results, students will not have the option of appearing for compartment exams. Instead, the CISCE has introduced re-evaluation and improvement examinations.
Under the revised policy, students who are not satisfied with their board results can first opt for a recheck of their answer scripts. If still dissatisfied, they can further apply for a re-evaluation of those scripts. The re-evaluation and recheck options are available through the CISCE’s official portal – cisce.org – under the 'Public Services' menu. Students must log in using their registered email address and password, or create an account if they don’t have one.
ISC, ICSE Result 2025 Recheck Window open until May 4
The online recheck window for ICSE and ISC 2025 will remain open from April 30 to May 4, 2025, following the result declaration. No requests will be accepted after this deadline. Results of all recheck applications will be released collectively on CISCE’s website.
Additionally, students are allowed to appear for improvement exams in up to two subjects in the same examination year, beginning 2024. The fee for each subject re-evaluation is Rs 1,500, which is non-refundable.
Who is eligible to apply for re-evaluation of ISC, ICSE results 2025?
Candidates who are not satisfied with the outcome of the recheck for specific subjects they applied for will be allowed to request a re-evaluation of the answer scripts for only those subjects or papers.
ICSE Result 2025: Credentials Required to check ICSE, ISC Result 2025
To download their 2025 results, students must keep the following credentials ready:
- Index number
- Unique ID
- Date of Birth (as per admit card)
Steps to check CISCE ICSE, ISC 2025 results:
- Visit cisce.org or results.cisce.org
- Enter course code (ICSE or ISC), candidate UID, index number, and captcha
- Click on “Show Result”
- Click on “Print Result” for a physical copy
The ICSE 2024 exams were held from February 21, while ISC exams began on February 12. CISCE has now declared both Class 10 and 12 board exam results on April 30, 2025.
The ICSE result 2026 is expected to be released in the last week of April 2026. Students can check their ICSE result 2026 using their roll number and index ID. Students must note that the ICSE result 2026 released online is provisional. They will need to collect the original marksheet from school.
Students are keen to know their ICSE result before it is released officially. This eagerness is specifically seen in students who have done well in ICSE 10th board exams. So, if you're the one searching for the result, congratulations, know that you have really performed well. However, please note that it isn't possible to know your marks before the result is announced officially by the board.
CISCE is expected to release the ICSE 10th result 2026 in May 2026. Students can check their result using the roll number as mentioned in the admit card.
