In academic year 2024-25, more than 87 percent of students passed Class 10 board exams, and around 83 percent passed Class 12 exams.

Madhya Pradesh Chief Secretary, Anurag Jain during a recent meeting of state government officials has asked schools and various departments to improve class 10 and 12 board exam results. In academic year 2024-25, more than 87 percent of students passed Class 10 board exams, and around 83 percent passed Class 12 exams.

As per a statement issued state govt, MP Chief Secretary has said that intensive efforts should be made from now on to improve results of board examinations in class 10 and 12.

Speaking at a session on qualitative improvements in education, Jain stressed that achieving broader development goals rests on significant progress in school result performance.

MP Chief Minister Mohan Yadav has said that instructions have been given to officials for increasing the gross enrolment ratio, reducing dropout rate, and ensure 100% distribution of scholarships.

Jain during his meeting of education officials from state also stressed on the need for 100 percent attendance of teacher in government schools. He also urged them to leverage e-Attendance app, which has achieved 94% compliance in Rajgarh district.

Jain demanded strict action against negligent teachers and advised schools to boost enrollment and retention from Anganwadi centers through secondary education, and curb dropouts in schools.

He has also directed officials to ensure students receive scholarships and benefits promptly, including mandatory registration on the National Scholarship Portal for Classes 9 through college.
