Maharashtra HSC Board Exam 2026 Starts

Maharashtra Board 2026 Exam: Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) is starting HSC board exams from today, February 10. Over 13 lakh students have registered for Maharashtra class 12th board exams this year. HSC papers will be held in two sessions each day, first shift from 11 am to 2 pm and second from 3 to 6 pm. MSBSHSE HSC exams will be conducted till March 11.Β 

As per updates, MSBSHSE HSC will be held in 3,387 centres using 61,484 classrooms with CCTV surveillance. Board has also taken strict actions for fair conduct during Maharashtra Board 2026 HSC exams by deploying special inspection teams at sensitive centres.Β

It must be noted that a total of 271 flying squads have been deployed. District-level vigilance committees headed by District Collector and special squads from divisional boards will conduct surprise inspections. Also, xerox shops within a 500 metre radius of exam centres will remain closed during Maharashtra HSC board exam.

Guidelines for Maharashtra HSC Board Exam 2026 StudentsΒ 

  • Students must reach exan centre at least 30 minutes before scheduled of paper. Those appearing in morning session must be inside exam hall by 10.30 am, while for afternoon session report by 2.30 pm.
  • They need to be properly dressed in school uniform. They must bring their pens, both black and blue, scale, pencil, eraser and sharpner.
  • They must carry their Maharashtra HSC admit card to exam centre. They must follow guidelines given by invigilators and maintain discipline inside exam hall. Electronic gadgets, written notes and any material are prohibited.Β 
  • Students will be given an additional 10 minutes after the stipulated duration to complete their answers.
