Maharashtra HSC, SSC Result 2025 Date: The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE), is expected to release the Maharashtra HSC, SSC Result 2025 early next month. While the Maharashtra Board did not announce the Maharashtra board result date, the chairman Sharad Gosavi informed that Maharashtra HSC, SSC result 2025 will be declared by May 15, 2025. Once released, students can check their Maharashtra 12th, 10th result 2025 using their roll number and mother’s name.

This year, over 15 lakh students including 8,10,348 boys, 6,94,652 girls, and 37 are transgender registered for their Maharashtra HSC exam. For the successful conduction of the examination, the MSBSHSE deployed flying squads, imposed Section 144 around exam centres.In Maharashtra SSC exams, a total of 16,11,610 students had registered from 23,492 secondary schools. Of them, 8,64,120 are boys, 7,47,471 are girls, and 19 are transgender students, marking a gap in the gender ratio.

  • Enter roll number and mother's first name in the Maharashtra board window

  • Take a printout or screenshot of the same and keep it safe

Last year, the Maharashtra Board HSC result 2024 was released on May 21, 2024 while Maharashtra SSC result was declared on May 27, 2024.

Recently, Ashish Shelar, the Maharashtra Information Technology Minister chaired a meeting with Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education and Information Technology Department officials discussing the need to undergo regular load testing and capacity enhancement of the Board’s official website as it slows down after the announcement of results as lakh of students check their results at the same time. He directed the officials to prepare a report on the current capacity of the website and suggest measures to increase it.

The Maharashtra Board opened a new registration window for private candidates planning to appear in the Maharashtra board SSC and HSC board examinations scheduled for July-August 2025. This move accommodates students who could not register during the earlier deadline for the February-March 2025 exams.

However, if you have failed in 1 or 2 subjects, you may be eligible to appear for the Maharashtra Class 12th Supplementary exams. The supplementary exam is a second chance given to students who have failed in one or two subjects in the main exam to clear their papers and obtain their passing Certificate. The compartment exam is usually held in July/August, and students have to fill a separate compartment exam application form and pay the exam fee. If you clear the compartment exam, you will receive a passing Certificate. And you will be eligible for admission to higher education courses.
