MSBSHSE Maharashtra Board Exam 2026

The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) has denied the ongoing Maharashtra Board SSC paper leak controversy. The alleged Maharashtra board SSC 2026 paper leak news was circulated online when the Geography paper was allegedly shared on a 50-member WhatsApp group minutes before the exam. Following the reports of a Class 10 board exam paper leak in Maharashtra, students across the state started worrying about their results. 

Despite alleged images of question papers circulating on WhatsApp and Telegram, the board mentioned that no Maharashtra Board SSC paper leak occurred before the exam started. 

Maharashtra Class 10 Paper Leak Row: Officials Denied Leak

Reportedly, as per the MSBSHSE official statement on the paper leak, Board Secretary Dr. Deepak Mali clarified that no evidence of a paper leak before the exam has been found. Reports highlighted that SSC Marathi/Maths paper leak reports were linked to a Telegram group titled “Maharashtra State Board 2026 Paper”. However, the board notified that many of these "leaked" files were uploaded after the exam had concluded.

The SSC paper leak brought anxiety among 16 lakh registered students. Authorities highlighted that some people demanded money (approximately ₹600) via private messages in exchange for the question paper PDF.

Students can also check their Maharashtra Board SSC Result 2026 via SMS. For this they need to type- MHSSC and give space and then type their Seat Number and then send this SMS to 57766.

In a separate but related development, 50 geography question papers were allegedly stolen in Solapur a day before the exam. As a part of zero tolerance policy, the board has blacklisted 107 exam centres for the 2026 session due to various irregularities and malpractice allegations.
