Rashtriya Kavya Utsav 2026

The Ministry of Education has announced Rashtriya Kavya Utsav 2026 for school students studying in Classes 9 to 12. Students who enjoy reading poems now have a chance to participate in the Rashtriya Kavya Utsav 2026 and perform on a national platform. According to the official post shared by the Ministry of Education, registrations and poem submissions are open from June 1 to July 31, 2026.Β 

The Rashtriya Kavya Utsav aims to encourage young students (classes 9 to 12) to develop reading, speaking, and literary skills. Rashtriya Kavya Utsav 2026: How Students Can Participate?

Rashtriya e-Pustakalaya, the Government of India's free digital library, is organising the Rashtriya Kavya Utsav 2026 for the students who are currently studying in classes 9 to 12. Students who want to participate in the competition by creating an account on the portal of Rashtriya e-Pustakalaya at ndl.education.gov.in.Β 

Registration is completely free, and the participants will be required to provide details such as name, mobile number or email address, date of birth, and a password. After completing the verification process, the participants can log in and access the platform. Once registered, students should read and follow the official participation guide available on the portal. Thereafter, they can submit their poetry performance before July 31, 2026.

Digital Certificate of Excellence

Winners will receive a Digital Certificate of Excellence jointly from Rashtriya e-Pustakalaya (ReP), the National Book Trust (NBT), and the Ministry of Education (MoE)

The winning entries and participants may be showcased on the official Rashtriya e-Pustakalaya digital platforms, giving them nationwide visibility

Recognition on Official Social Media

Winners will be recognised through the official social media handles of Rashtriya e-Pustakalaya (ReP), National Book Trust (NBT), and the Ministry of Education (MoE)

Also, every participant entry will receive a "Digital Participation Certificate" from ReP/NBT/MoE. Rashtriya e-Pustakalaya also offers free access to thousands of digital books, poems, comics, picture books, and audiobooks in more than 20 Indian languages and in English.
