RBSE 10th Exam 2026-27: Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education will conduct RBSE cass 10 board exams twice from 2026-27 academic session. This decision has been taken in accordance with objectives of National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 and order issued by Board Chairman. As per notification, first RBSE 10th exam will be conducted as main examination in February-March 2027. Whereas, second RBSE 10th board exam 2027, termed remedial examination, will be held in May 2027. This new system will provide students with additional opportunity to improve their performance within same academic year.
RBSE 10th Remedial Exam 2027: Students Can Improve Marks
Students who pass RBSE 10th main exam 2027 will be allowed to appear in second board examination if they wish to improve their marks. However, they will be permitted to take RBSE 10th remedial exam for a maximum of three subjects. The provision will allow students who are not satisfied with their marks in selected subjects to improve their performance.
Final Rajasthan Board 10th result 2027 will be prepared by considering higher marks obtained in each subject in main and second board examinations. For example, if a student scores 62 marks in Science in RBSE main exam and 72 marks in Rajasthan Board 10th remedial examination, higher score of 72 marks will be considered for final result.
Students Not Appearing for RBSE 10th Remedial Exam
Students who pass RBSE 10th main examination but do not wish to appear in second board examination will not be required to take remedial exam. Their passing certificate issued based on Rajasthan Board main examination for class 10th will also be accepted as proof of having passed second board examination. The admit card for such candidates will be issued based on their marks obtained in main examination.

The result of such candidates will be marked as 'Essential Repeat'. These students will have to appear in the main examination of the next academic session and will not be permitted to appear in the second board examination for all subjects.
Provisional Admission to Class 11
This new system also provides for provisional admission to Class 11 based on students' performance in RBSE 10th main examination. Students who obtain less than the minimum passing marks in a maximum of two subjects in main examination may be granted provisional admission to Class 11. Their admission will be made permanent based on their performance in Rajasthan Board second examination. This provision will allow eligible students to continue their Class 11 studies while also getting an opportunity to improve their Class 10 results through the remedial examination.
RBSE 10th Final Result 2027
The final RBSE 10th result will be declared after completion of second board examination. For students who appear in both exam, Rajasthan Board will consider higher subject-wise marks secured in main and remedial examinations. Passing certificates will be issued after the declaration of final result.
