Kerala SSLC, Plus 2 Board Exam: Kerala government has cancelled SSLC Class 10 and Plus Two Class 12 exams scheduled to be held in Gulf region due to ongoing conflict in West Asia, General Education Minister V Sivankutty announced on Thursday. The decision affects hundreds of students who were unable to appear for their Kerala board exams. In a conference held, Education Minister V Sivankutty briefed media about SSLC and plus two exams, along with cancellation of Kerala board exams for West Asia students.
Kerala SSLC, Plus Two Result 2026 Based on Internal Evaluation
According to General Education Minister, results of 633 Kerala SSLC students will be prepared based on their performance in model or term exams, along with a provision for grace marks.
For 592 students who were set to appear for Kerala second-year higher secondary exams, marks obtained in first year will be carried forward. These will be combined with Continuous Evaluation (CE) scores and practical marks from the second year to prepare final results.
The benefit will also extend to students from Kerala who travelled toΒ Gulf for various reasons and were stranded due to conflict. Such students must undergo verification of their original hall tickets, visas and passports by school authorities.

Students dissatisfied with their Kerla SSLC, PLus Two results will be given an opportunity to appear for improvement exams at a later stage. Meanwhile, state government is also taking steps to strengthen grievance redressal system related to continuous assessment in schools.Β
Schools have been directed to display assessment scores on notice boards to ensure transparency, and complaints will be reviewed by school-level monitoring committees.
