SA1 and SA2 answer sheets of Classes 1 to 9, along with SA1 answer sheets of Class 10, will now be checked by teachers from other schools. The move aims to make marking more fair and open.

TheΒ Telangana State Education Department has introduced a new cross-evaluation system for government school students. Under new system, the answer sheets of SA1 and SA2 exams of students from Classes 1 to 9 will be checked by teachers from other schools. For Class 10 students, only the SA1 answer sheets will be checked this way. The new evaluation process is being brought in to judge the academic level of students in government schools in a better way. In the earlier system, answer sheets of students were checked by teachers from their own school. The new method aims to mark students fairly and bring more openness to entire process. The state education department has also said that this system will increase accountability among teachers and bring out the true ability of every student.
