TG Inter March 2027 Exams

TG Inter March 2027 Exams: Telangana Board of Intermediate Education (TGBIE) has announced application dates for private candidates willing to get attendance exemption for TS Intermediate Public Examinations (IPE) March 2027. Eligible candidates must submit their TG Inter applications online through official website, tgbie.cgg.gov.in, by October 31, 2026. The application fee for attendance exemption is INR 500. They must go through eligibility conditions and required documents before applying. The board has clarified that fee will not be refunded or adjusted if a candidate is later found ineligible to appear for March 2027 exams.

TG Inter Exams 2027: Documents Required for Attendance Exemption

They must submit complete applications along with necessary documents. These may include original qualifying examination certificates, a Transfer Certificate (TC), a Migration Certificate and an Eligibility Certificate, wherever applicable. TGBIE has warned that incomplete TG Inter attendance applications or applications without required documents will be rejected without further correspondence.

Candidates who passed their SSC or equivalent examination from a board other than Telangana SSC Board must obtain Eligibility Certificate from TGBIE. They must upload a scanned copy of this certificate while submitting their online application for attendance exemption.

Who Can Apply for TG Inter Attendance Exemption?

As per eligibility rules, candidates with different academic gap periods can appear for TS Intermediate examinations as follows

  • One-year gap: Candidates who have completed SSC or an equivalent qualifying exam and have a gap of one year are eligible to appear only for first-year Intermediate exams in March 2027.

  • Two-year or longer gap: Candidates with a gap of two years or more can appear for both first-year and second-year Intermediate exams in same examination session.

Subject and Group Changes Under TG Inter Exams 2027

The attendance exemption facility also covers certain candidates seeking changes in their subjects or groups.

Students who failed second-year Intermediate examination and wish to change their optional subjects from Science to Arts or Humanities must apply for attendance exemption within deadline. The same requirement applies to candidates seeking a change from one faculty to another within Arts and Humanities, subject to the board's rules.

The board has also outlined provisions for candidates who wish to take additional subjects. Students who have passed both first-year and second-year Intermediate courses can appear for a second language as an additional subject.

Similarly, candidates who have passed the Intermediate Public Examinations with the Biology, Physics and Chemistry (BPC) group and wish to study only Mathematics as an additional subject can apply under the prescribed provisions.
