TN 10th Retotalling & Revaluation Form

TN SSLC Retotalling & Revaluation 2026: Directorate of Government Examinations, Tamil Nadu, has released application forms for Class 10 (SSLC) Retotalling and Revaluation 2026. Students who are not satisfied with their marks can apply for Tamil Nadu 10th retotalling or revaluation 2026 of their answer scripts by submitting application form and paying fee at designated district examination offices between June 5 and 16, 2026, from 11 am to 5 pm.

Students must submit completed application form along with fee to office of Assistant Director of Government Examinations in their district. Candidates from Chengalpattu, Tirupathur, Ranipet, Mayiladuthurai, Tenkasi and Kallakurichi districts can submit applications at respective CEO offices.

TN SSLC Retotalling 2026: What Will Be Checked?

In retotalling, only these will be checked

• Errors in total marks

• Answers evaluated, but marks not given

• Marks given but not entered on front page

• Unevaluated answers

• Differences between marks in answer script and provisional mark sheet

Board clarified that during Tamil Nadu SSLC retotalling, marks already awarded will be recalculated question-wise and page-wise. If any answer has remained unevaluated, marks will be awarded accordingly. However, students seeking additional marks for quality of their answers must apply for revaluation instead.

TN SSLC Result Revaluation 2026 to Be Done by Three Senior Teachers

For revaluation, entire answer script will be reassessed by a panel of three senior subject teachers. The DGE has stated that any increase or decrease in marks after revaluation will be treated as final.
