TN 10th Supplementary Exam: Directorate of Government Examinations (DGE), Tamil Nadu, has invited applications for SSLC Supplementary exams scheduled to be held in July 2026. TN SSLC supplementary exam registration has started for both school students and private candidates who failed or could not appear for March/April 2026 SSLC public exams.
Students who appeared as regular school candidates in March/April 2026 Class 10 public examinations but failed or remained absent can apply through their respective schools. TN SSLC supplementary exam application process will be available till June 6, 2026, between 11 am and 5 pm, excluding Sundays. They will be allowed to reappear only for subjects in which they did not pass.
Private Candidates Must Apply Through Service Centres
Eligible private candidates applying for July 2026 TTN SSLC supplementary exam must submit their applications through Government Examination Service Centres established district-wise by education department. Special ‘Takkal’ Scheme for Late Applicants
Candidates who fail to register within regular application period can still apply under Special Permit Scheme (Takkal). This special registration facility will be available on June 9 and 10, 2026, through schools and service centres on payment of the prescribed additional fee.
