TS Intermediate Admission 2026: Board of Intermediate Education released phase II admission schedule for Inter first students, after declaration of SSC Advanced Supplementary result. Telangana second phase of Intermediate admissions will continue until July 31. 

Board, besides all rules, instructed college principals to implement mandatory anti-drug declaration for both parents and students at time of admission. They also said parents and students must exercise caution while choosing only an affiliate college, from list of colleges provided at tgbie.cgg.gov.in.

Admissions Based on GPA and Subject-wise Grades

Board has directed all junior colleges to admit students based on their overall Grade Point Average (GPA) and subject-wise grade points obtained in qualifying SSC examination. TS Inter first phase of admissions concluded on Tuesday, following which revised schedule for second phase was released.

Students Asked to Choose Only TG BIE-Affiliated Colleges

Board has advised students and parents to take admission only in TG BIE-affiliated junior colleges. It has urged candidates to verify list of affiliated institutions available on Board's official website before applying.

Additional Documents Required for Gap-Year Students

Students willing to get admission after a gap period must submit a residential or local candidate certificate issued by concerned Tahsildar along with other required documents.

Over 62,000 Students Join Government Junior Colleges

As per Board, 62,562 students have already got admission to first year of Intermediate in government junior colleges during first phase. The Board has appealed to students and parents to complete admissions by last date and ensure they enrol only in recognised institutions.
