WB HS Result 2026: Board Introduces Improvement Exam

West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education, WBCHSE, has introduced improvement exam for first time. This allows students to reappear for specific subjects. Earlier, students were given the option for scrutiny or reviewing their marksheets. WB HS result 2026 was announced on May 14. The overall pass percentage was 91.23%. Girls outshined boys in the exam.

Important Points Related to Improvement Exam

The guidelines related to West Bengal Board HS improvement exam are given below. 
• Candidates willing to take improvement exam must surrender their original WB HS marksheet before appearing for the test
• They need to apply online through the Board’s website
• The detailed schedule related to improvement exam will be announced soon
• This year, the marksheet of WB HS has been upgraded. It comprises QR codes and the student’s photograph
• The improvement exam helps students to increase their marls
• The board aims to reduce stress of candidates
