WBCHSE releases important notifications related to the Sanskrit exam, exam timings, BMBS and BMSS books. Read them all here. WB HS exams 2026 are all set to be conducted between February 12 and 27, 2026 in pen and paper format.
WB HS Exams 2026 - West Bengal Board of Higher Secondary Education (WBCHSE) released notifications related to the 12th board exams in the state. WB HS Semester 4 and Semester 3 supplementary exams will be conducted between February 12 and 27, 2026, for the new and old annual system. The WBCHSE has provided an additional 10 minutes to students to read the question paper or fill in the particulars. The semester 4 exams will begin at 9:50 pm, while the semester 3 supplementary exams will start at 1:00 pm.
WBCHSE will release the WB HS admit card 2026 on january 28, 2026. Students need to collect their hall ticket from school and carry it on all exam days. No student will be allowed to write their exam without it.
WB HS Sanskrit Exam 2026
According to the notification, in case of WB HS Sanskrit exam Part 2 short answer questions (pose, verse, visual poetry) of the second and fourth semesters, question number two can be answered in any language (Sanskrit/Bangla/English).
BMBS and BMSS Books from January 22
Another official notification informs that the Semester II textbooks [ Bengali version ] on Business Mathematics and Business Statistics [ BMBS ] and Basic Mathematics for Social Sciences [ BMSS ] will be available at Book Mart of Vidyasagar Bhavan from January 22, 2026.

In case you are unable to attend a WB HS 12th board exam, you will be awarded zero marks in the subject. Eventually, you will be asked to appear for the compartment exam. Thus, it is better to focus and study hard and not skip or leave your exam and pass with flying colours.
