IIM Kozhikode and Simplilearn Launch Professional Programme in AI-Powered Product Development and Innovation

Learners will receive a certificate of completion from IIM Kozhikode upon completing the programme, including the capstone project.

Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode has partnered with Simplilearn to start a Professional Certificate Programme in AI-Powered Product Development and Innovation. The certificate course has been designed to prepare leaders who can drive transformation in the evolving product development landscape.

The course which is of 10-month duration, will be led by IIM Kozhikode faculty, with over 120 hours of live online learning covering AI product lifecycle. The curriculum includes developing, deploying, and scaling AI-powered products, with a strong focus on generative AI, prompt engineering, workflow automation, and ethical AI practices.

As per a release issued by Simplilearn, the modules blend core product strategy with real-world implementation through case studies, hands-on projects, and a capstone project.

The course is reflective of this demand and prepares professionals to manage the full AI product lifecycle, from ideation and data strategy to scaling. The modules include crucial learnings in the view of the current trends, such as data governance and ethical AI practices, which will help professionals to align AI solutions with business goals. As AI becomes central to product innovation, this programme ensures learners receive the vision and technical expertise.
