IIM Kozhikode has launched an Executive Programme in Product Innovation with AI & Agentic AI. The course aims to prepare the next generation of AI-First product builders. Artificial Intelligence is changing the way companies create new products. Today, companies expect workers to know how to build smart tools. To help with this, IIM Kozhikode has started this new course. The course is called the Executive Programme in Product Innovation with AI & Agentic AI. The duration of IIM Kozhikode Executive Course in AI is 20 weeks. It is made for professionals who want to build AI products from the beginning.

Scope of AI in Recent Years

According to the McKinsey State of AI Report 2025, 88% of organisations now use AI in at least one business function. There is a growth from 55% in just a year. Product teams are evolving. 51% of AI product teams are now building agentic AI products, more than twice the 21% in 2024. AI-powered products are no longer an emerging trend but are becoming the new competitive requirement. 

What Will Students Learn?

The course combines product design with generative AI and agentic AI. Students will learn the complete process of making a product. They will not just read textbooks. Instead, they will practice by making real AI systems.

Students will work on five small practical projects. They also have to finish one big final project. This helps them build a strong portfolio to show to future employers. The course will teach 20 popular industry tools. Students will practice with tools like ChatGPT, Claude, Figma, and Jira. They will also attend four live classes with industry experts.
