DU Admission 2026: University of Delhi has opened applications under its Competence Enhancement Scheme (CES) 2026. This allows candidates of any age and profession chance to register along with regular students but not to pursue a degree programme. This scheme is in compliance with vision of NEP 2020 for lifelong learning and upgrading. Through this scheme, professionals and senior citizens can upgrade themselves academically. 

As per Delhi University CES admission, any candidate will be allowed to take enrolment in two papers or 8 credits per semester.  Admission will be made based on supernumerary seats available (10% of the sanctioned strength of a class). DU CES admissions will be done on merit and also on fulfilment of prerequisites for respective paper along with availability of seats in colleges/departments. 

How To Apply For Delhi University Competence Enhancement Scheme 2026?

Interested candidates can check these steps to know how to fill application under DU CES 

  • Go to ces.du.ac.in 

  • Complete registration by entering email address and mobile number 

  • Enter personal information, education qualification, address, and also mention field of study as per preference

  • Select maximum of two papers or eight credit hours per semester 

  • Attach scan copied of certificates, identity proof, photograph, signature and employer’s NOC

  • Make one-time payment of non-refundable registration fees for each paper 

  • Submit and download it 

Learners enrolled under Delhi University Competence Enhancement Scheme have to attend classes as per schedule, do internal assessment and also appear for end-semester exam along with regular students. After completion of this course, credits will be awarded and duly registered by university. Candidates will have to apply through CES online portal ces.du.ac.in by paying INR 6,100 per paper.
