IIM Bangalore BSc Admissions 2027: Indian Institute of Management Bangalore has opened admission for second cohort of its BSc undergraduate programmes. Candidates can now apply for IIMB BSc (Hons) in Data Sciences and BSc (Hons) in Economics for 2027 academic session online. IIM Bangalore BSc application window is open till October 15, 2026 (5:00 PM IST). Candidates need to visit official institute's UG admissions portal to apply.

Candidates can check important dates for admission to BSc programmes 

80 Seats Across Two BSc Programmes at IIM Bangalore

IIM Bangalore will admit a total of 80 students, with 40 seats each in BSc (Hons) Data Sciences and BSc (Hons) Economics programmes. The institute said limited intake will ensure personalised learning, close faculty mentorship and strong academic engagement on its residential campus.

Both programmes follow an interdisciplinary curriculum. Students pursuing Data Sciences will also study Economics and Business Studies as minors. Those enrolled in Economics will complete minors in Data Science and Business Studies.

IIM Bangalore BSc Eligibility and Selection Process

To apply, candidates must be 20 years or younger as of August 1, 2027, have passed Class 12 or equivalent from a recognised board. They must have studied Mathematics in Classes 11 and 12. They should also have obtained at least 60% marks in Maths in Class 10. Selection will be based on IIM Bangalore UG Admissions Test, followed by personal interview for shortlisted candidates.
