IIT Madras & SBI Foundation Launch Sports Scholarship Program for Para-Athletes
IIT Madras has partnered with SBI Foundation to launch Sports Scholarship Program aimed at supporting and empowering para athletes.
Indian Institute of Technology Madras in collaboration with SBI Foundation has launched Para Athlete Sports Scholarship Program. Each selected athlete will receive monthly stipend of INR 40,000 to support their pursuit of national and international sporting excellence along with access to scientific training to enhance their performance.
By integrating financial assistance with scientific training, scholarship equips para athletes with resources and mentorship needed to excel at highest levels. This initiative aims for inclusive sporting ecosystem in India while building strong talent pipeline for Paralympics and other international para sport events.
