RGPV MTech Admission 2026: Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya Bhopal has announced revised schedule for RGPV College Level Counselling against vacant seats for postgraduate programmes offered by its School of Energy & Environment Management, University Teaching Department (UTD).

As per revised RGPV MTech schedule, candidates can register for counselling till September 14, 2026. Candidates willing to get admission are required to complete prior registration on Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Madhya Pradesh portal before participating in counselling.

RGPV counselling is being conducted for vacant seats in two postgraduate programmes - MTech in Energy Technology and MTech in Energy & Environmental Engineering. Both programmes are approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi.

RGPV MTech Eligibility Criteria

Candidates applying for ME/MTech programmes must hold a minimum four-year bachelor's degree in the relevant field of Engineering or Technology with at least 50% marks. For candidates belonging to SC, ST and OBC (excluding creamy layer) categories of Madhya Pradesh, minimum required marks are 45%.

The qualifying degree must be obtained from an AICTE-approved institution, recognised Indian university, eligible foreign university recognised by Association of Indian Universities (AIU), or an institute of national importance such as IITs, IISc and NITs.

GATE qualified candidates will be given preference based on merit. Scholarships for SC/ST/OBC candidates will be provided as per state government norms. EWS reservation will also be applicable as per Madhya Pradesh government rules.
