The National Institute of Design (NID) has announced that the B.Des DAT Mains Studio Test will be held on Saturday, May 3, 2025. The test will take place at multiple NID campuses, including Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Andhra Pradesh, Haryana, Madhya Pradesh, and Jorhat. The exact test timing and centre address will be provided through the Admit Card, which candidates must download from the official portal.
Candidates are required to select their preferred DAT Mains test centre themselves, and the allocation will be done on a first-come-first-serve basis. Once the test centre is submitted, no changes will be allowed. If a candidate fails to submit their centre preference, the system will automatically assign a centre based on availability. It is mandatory for the candidates to appear for the Studio Test in order to be eligible for the final stage of NID admission. The Admissions Cell at NID Ahmedabad holds the final authority on all test centre allotments.
