NID DAT M.Des Result 2026
NID will release the NID DAT 2026 Prelims Result for M.Des programmes tomorrow, on February 12, 2026 around 4 PM. The result will be released on the website of NID: admissions.nid.edu. Candidates need to log in to download the result using their email ID and Password. Once the result is declared, NID will also open the NID DAT Rechecking Window for M.Des around 6 PM. The rechecking window will close on February 14, 2026. NID DAT Rechecking window is usually limited to verifying calculation errors or unmarked answers, not a re-evaluation of subjective content.

Candidates can apply for rechecking of NID DAT M Des Result 2026 for Prelims from February 12 (6:00 pm) to February 14, 2026.

NID DAT 2026 Result to be out tomorrow
The NID 2026 M.Des result for Prelims will be released tomorrow, February 12, 2026 for all the candidates who took the exam on December 21, 2026. The result will be out on the website of NID.
The final results of NID DAT 2026 will be prepared by considering the weighated score of the candidate in DAT Prelims and DAT Mains. Note that only such candidates who have qualified in DAT Prelims will be allowed to appear in DAT Mains. The National Institute of Design announces the weightage for the DAT Prelims and DAT Mains.
As per the official notification, the DAT Prelims will carry 40% and DAT Mains will carr 60% weightage for the B. Des programme. In case of M.Des programme, DAT Prelims carries 30% weightage, while DAT Mains carries 70% weightage.

Admission to the B.Des and M.Des programs at the NIDs is conducted through the NID DAT entrance exam.
The exam has two sub-exams - The candidate 1st appears in DAT Prelims, and if shortlisted has to appear in DAT Mains.
The final merit list for NID DAT will be prepared by giving weightage to DAT Prelims and DAT Mains.
Also, if a candidate doen't appear in DAT Mains, he or she will not be considered for admission.
The DAT Mains exam for the B. Des programme will include a Studio Test. Meanwhile, the DAT Mains for the M.Des programme includes a Studio Test and Interview.
