NID DAT Registration 2026
The registration for NID DAT 2026 Entrance Exam will end tomorrow, on December 01, 2025 at 11:59 PM (midnight) Monday. NID DAT registration is open for B.Des and M.Des programmes at admissions.nid.edu. The application fee for NID DAT 2026 for B.Des and M.Des is INR 3000 for General, Gen EWS and OBC and INR 1500 for SC and ST and female candidates.
NID DAT Exams will be conducted on December 21, 2025 for B.Des and M.Des. Admission to NID B.Des and NID M.Des programmes will be done on the basis of NID DAT Scores.
How to apply for NID DAT 2026 exam?
To fill out the form, follow these steps.
- Register - To register for the exam, select the program of study, and then enter your name, email ID, and other details. On registration, an applicant account will be created.
- Fill in the form - Log in to the newly created account and fill in academic, personal, and contact details. Also, select an exam center from the drop-down list.
- Upload documents - Next, you have to upload your signature, photograph, and other relevant documents. Make sure that you follow the prescribed image specifications.
- Pay the application fee to complete the process.

Both B.Des (after 10+2) and M.Des (after graduation) aspirants can register. The detailed eligibility criteria will be included in the NID notification.

NID DAT 2026 Registration to end Soon
The registration for NID DAT 2026 will end soon for B.Des and M.Des programmes. All candidates should fill the application now who wish to seek admission in the programmes.
The application fee of NID DAT 2026 for the B. Des for General, General-EWS, OBC-NCL candidates is INR 3,000. SC, ST, PwD candidates only ned to pay INR 1,500. However note that the application fees for overseas candidates seeking admission to supernumerary seats is INR 5000. In case of the M.Des programme, the application fees for General, General-EWS, OBC-NCL candidates applying for one discipline is INR 3,000. If two disciplines are chosen, the application fee is INR 6000. Meanwhile, SC, ST, PwD candidate need to pay INR 1,500 for one discipline, and INR 3000 for two disciplines.
The NID DAT 2026 application form is now open.
While filling out the NID application form, candidates have to enter their personal, academic, and personal information. They are also required to upload a photograph and signature, and caste Certificate if applicable. In case of candidates seeking admission under reserved categories, they also need to upload a category Certificate. PwD category candidates will also have to upload the relevant Certificate.
The category and PwD certificates should be in PDF format and max 2 MB.
Meanwhile, the photograph and signature should in JPG/JPEG format and within 75-100 KB.
