Any candidate who fulfils the prescribed educational qualification criteria for the respective Master’s programme can apply for NIFT 2027. There is no age limit.

After completing the online form, candidates must clear the NIFT 2027 application fee using a Credit Card, Debit Card or Net Banking; the transaction is processed instantly.

If the regular fee deadline is missed for NIFT 2027, a flat late fee of INR 5,000 is charged on top of the applicable regular amount, increasing total cost.

The regular NIFT 2027 application fee is approximately INR 2,000 for General/OBC (Non‑Creamy)/GEN‑EWS candidates and INR 500 for SC, ST and PwD categories as per the official fee structure.

Only one of the three name fields – Candidate, Father or Mother – can be altered in a single correction request, as per NIFT 2027 guidelines.

 The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced NIFT 2027 exam dates at nta.ac.in. For Session 1, NIFT exam 2027 will be held on January 10, 2027. 

During the NIFT 2027 Application correction phase, candidates may change their examination city and all four preferred exam‑centre cities based on their permanent and present addresses.

The application fee for NIFTEE 2027 is:

The NIFT 2027 exam date has been released by NTA. The exam will be held for 1 day on January 10, 2027.

There is no limit on the number of attempts for NIFT Entrance Exam 2027, but the age ceiling still applies to each attempt for undergraduate programmes.

NIFT 2027 B.Des. includes General Ability Test (GAT), Creative Ability Test (CAT). Shortlisted based on the entrance examination, followed by a Situation Test.

NIFT 2027 regular application fee will be around INR 2,000 for General, OBC (Non‑Creamy) and GEN‑EWS candidates, while SC, ST and PwD applicants pay INR 500. Late submissions attract a ₹5,000 fee.

• Upload a scanned signature in the prescribed format.
• Upload a recent passport‑size photograph as per guidelines.
• Provide a valid caste certificate for SC/ST/PwD reservations.
• Attach any government‑issued ID (Aadhaar, passport, voter ID, etc.) as proof of identity.

NIFT 2027 Information Bulletin is available on the National Testing Agency (NTA) Portal and NIFT website. NTA has already released the dates for NIFT 2027. The exam will be conducted on Jan 17, 2027.

NIFT 2027 Applicants must be under 24 years as of 1 August 2026. SC, ST and PwD candidates receive a five‑year relaxation, extending the upper limit to 29 years.

NIFT 2027 test comprises MCQs in Quantitative Analysis, Logical Reasoning, Verbal Ability & General Awareness. 

While completing the NIFT 2027 form, use the ‘Programme Selection’ field to indicate your preferred course: B.Des, M.Des, B.F.Tech, M.F.Tech, or M.F.M: once only as your first choice.

After submission, a NIFT correction window opens; log in with application number, email and DOB, edit allowed fields, and resubmit before the specified deadline.

Before filling the NIFT 2027 application, verify your Aadhaar number; the system will prompt you after login, ensuring your identity matches the details you enter.

The eligibility for 2027 NIFT UG programmes remains unchanged: age under 24 for B.Des, Mathematics in Class 12 for B.F.Tech, and a valid 10+2 qualification.

Candidates can edit the following in the NIFT 2027 Form.

The maximum age should be less than 24 years as on 1st August of the year of admission in NIFT 2027 B.Des. The upper age limit may be relaxed by a period of 5 (five) years for candidates of the Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe/Person with Disability (PwD) categories.

Candidates should upload a photograph with the following:

• The photograph should not be with a cap or Photograph should cover 80% face (without mask) visible including ears against white background.
• Spectacles are allowed if being used.
• Polaroid and Computer-generated photos are not allowed.
• Applications not complying with these instructions or with unclear photographs are liable to be rejected.
• Candidates may please note that if it is found that photograph uploaded is fabricated e. de- shaped or seems to be hand-made or computer-made, the form of the candidate will be rejected and the same would be considered as using unfair means and the candidate would be dealt with accordingly.
• Applications without photographs shall be rejected. The photograph need not be attested. Candidates are advised to take 6 to 8 passport size-colored photographs with a white background.

Before you begin the NIFT 2027 application, verify that you meet the age limit (under 24 as of 1 August) and have the required 10+2 qualification.

Alongside the notification, the NIFT 2027 prospectus and information bulletin will be released together, providing details on courses, fees, and eligibility for aspiring designers.

The NIFT 2027 application is common for every one of the 20 NIFT campuses, so you need fill only one form to be considered for any institute.

Applicants must use the official portal exams.nta.nic.in/niftee to submit their NIFT 2027 application when the window opens, which hosts the form across all 20 NIFT campuses throughout India.

NIFT Entrance Exam 2027 will be conducted in two stages: Stage 1 and Stage 2. NIFT Stage 1 will be in Computer Based Test (CBT) and Paper Based Test (PBT) modes.

NTA is expected to release the NIFT 2027 notification and Information Bulletin in November 2026. This notification will include important details like application dates, NIFTEE 2027 exam date, eligibility criteria, exam format, syllabus, fees, correction options, and other instructions.

NIFT application form can be filled at NTA website exams.nta.nic.in/niftee. Application Form in any other mode will not be accepted. The applications will be released soon for NIFT entrance exam 2027.

NIFT written exams will comprise the Creative Ability Test (CAT) and the General Ability Test (GAT). The GAT paper is mandatory for all courses. However, only B.Des and M.Des candidates need to take the CAT.

For the upcoming 2027 cycle, the notification and application are tentatively slated for release in November 2026.
