The dates for NIFT Research Proposal Presentation & Interview (RPP&l) for PhD programmes have been released for the provisionally shortlisted candidates. Candidates can check the schedule at nift.ac.in/admission. The exam will be conducted at the NIFT Campus(HO), Haus Khas, Near Gulmohar Park, New Delhi - 110016 on the dates given.

NIFT has released the schedule for NIFT PhD. Candidates must check the dates for Research Proposal Presentation & Interview (RPP&l) and report on the same date accordingly.

The dates for NIFT Research Proposal Presentation & Interview (RPP&l) for PhD programmes have been released for the provisionally shortlisted candidates. Candidates can check the schedule at nift.ac.in/admission. The exam will be conducted at the NIFT Campus(HO), Haus Khas, Near Gulmohar Park, New Delhi - 110016 on the dates given. The date of the exam are August 20, 2026 and August 21, 2026. Candidates can check the PDF at nift.ac.in/admission. Candidates are requested to report accordingly on the date and time allotted. The reporting time is 9 AM.

The admit card for the NIFT PhD Research Proposal Presentation & Interview (RPP&l) will be sent by email.

NIFT PhD Admission Process

  • Research Proposal: The completed application form has to be submitted along with an outline of Research Proposal in prescribed word limit by NIFT. 
  • Shortlisting, Selection, and Preliminary Registration: Candidates will be shortlisted and invited for a presentation and personal interview based on the research proposal and application form
  • Written test & Interview: Candidates who are shortlisted after step 1 will be called for the written test and personal interview
  • Merit List: The merit list of the candidates will be made on the basis of total score of written test. The list will be released on the NIFT website.
  • Research Proposal Presentation: Candidates whose name appear in the Merit List, will have to appear for research proposal presentation and interview
  • Admission: Admission will be offered to the candidates who have cleared the last round and on the basis of number of seats available for the academic year.
