JEE Mains 2026 Exam Date & Centre Changed for Few Candidates

NTA has also notified that in response to various representations received from aspirants of the JEE Session 2, revisions have been made ot the scheduled examination centres and dates.

  1. Candidates who emailed to change their JEE Mains exam dates because of the Easter celebration on April 5 have been accommodated, and their exam dates have been modified accordingly.
  2. To prevent a conflict between the JEE Main 2026 Session 2 and the Class XII Board exams, the NTA collaborated with CBSE to gather the exam dates of candidates taking the Class XII board exams in 2026 to ensure there was no overlap with the JEE schedule. An input field was included in the JEE Mains 2026 Session 1 & 2 application forms for these candidates, allowing them to enter their CBSE registration/roll numbers. With the data on the schedules of these candidates provided by CBSE, the NTA organised the exam dates to eliminate any potential conflicts. Furthermore, any requests from candidates seeking a change in their JEE Main 2026 Session 2 exam date due to other examinations were taken into account, and the exam dates were adjusted.
  3. Numerous candidates submitted requests to change their examination centres because of the ongoing conflicts in the Middle East, and NTA has reviewed these requests and made necessary changes to the assigned centres.
