AICTE Admission Window for Working Professionals To Close Tomorrow, Get Details Here
All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) will end the registration process for working professionals tomorrow: November 30, 2023. Earlier, AICTE permitted working professionals to pursue diploma, B.Tech or BE degrees from institutes affiliated with it, thus enabling them to upgrade professionally.
As per a notice released earlier, AICTE stated, "On the request of large number of institutes those who have been selected to run Engineering and Technology Courses for working professionals (in flexible timing/mode and duration of the course), it is clarified that institutes can admit students and universities can affiliate up to November 30, 2023, only for the approved courses for working professionals notified/published in AICTE website @www.aicte-india.org."
The AICTE constituted a committee of experts for the assessment and final selection of institutes that are keen to offer courses for working professionals for the academic year 2023-24 only in approved disciplines having NBA accreditation. Only working professionals in recognised industries or organizations will be eligible to take admission in these programmes.
A maximum of three programmes will be approved by AICTE per institute with an approved intake of 30 seats each, AICTE member secretary Rajive Kumar said. “A batch of minimum 10 working professionals will be required to run the course in an academic year,” he said.
