All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) in collaboration with Apna.Co, has enhanced employability prospects for lakhs of students nationwide. In just nine months, this partnership has empowered 3.5 lakh students across 6,000 colleges with career opportunities, effectively bridging the gap between education and employment. The AICTE Career Portal, a key outcome of this initiative, has emerged as a game-changer, facilitating over 8 lakh job applications across 44,000+ companies, including industry leaders like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, HDFC Bank, Deloitte, and Tata Motors.

With 1.6 lakh job opportunities slated for campus hiring between March and June 2025, the portal is set to streamline the transition from graduation to employment, unlocking a world of career possibilities for students across the country.

The AICTE Career Portal has enabled students to develop industry-relevant skills, with top technical competencies in demand, including Python, Java, C++, data analytics, SQL, cloud computing (AWS, Azure), cybersecurity, and AI/ML. Communication, teamwork, and problem-solving continue to be the most sought-after soft skills. Across sectors, job demand has been highest in Technology & IT Services, BFSI, Retail & E-commerce, Healthcare & Life Sciences, and Logistics, highlighting the growing need for a skilled and future-ready workforce.

The Career Portal has effectively tackled key hiring challenges, especially for students in Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities, by removing geographical barriers and providing equal access to job opportunities. Additionally, free career masterclasses attended by over 30,000 students have played a crucial role in bridging skill gaps and offering expert guidance on resume building, interview preparation, and emerging technologies.

Building on the success of this initiative, Apna.Co and AICTE hosted CampusInc 2025, bringing together industry leaders, government officials, and academia to shape India's future workforce. The event saw participation from over 300 delegates and featured 12+ distinguished speakers, including AICTE Chairman, Professor T.G. Sitharam, who delivered the keynote address. Panel discussions covered critical topics such as AI, Tech & Automation: Industry Expectations from Campus Talent & Academia and Employing India’s Largest Generation: Strategies to Hire & Skill Gen Z, offering valuable insights into the evolving employment landscape.
