The Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU), Kakinada, on behalf of the Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE), will conducted the Day 2 of the AP EAMCET 2026 for Engineering (MPC) stream today, May 13, 2026. 

Following the trend of Day 1 where student noted that the overall paper was "moderate" but featuring a lengthy Physics section, thousands of aspirants are appearing across various computer-based test centres today. Experts have shared that the question paper might follow a similar approach.

The AP EAMCET exam for engineering stream will be held in two shifts:

  • Shift 1: 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM

  • Shift 2: 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM

AP EAMCET 2026 Dress Code

To ensure a seamless flow of the AP EAMCET exam process JNTU Kakinada has issued mandatory exam-day instructions and specific dress code protocols on the official APSCHE Portal. 

  • Candidates are advised to wear simple, light-coloured, comfortable clothes like T-shirts or casual shirts with half sleeves. 

  • Full-sleeved clothes, heavy embroidery, multi-pocketed pants (such as cargo pants or heavily pocketed jeans), hoodies, or jackets are barred. 

  • Wear simple open footwear like sandals or slippers is highly encouraged. 

  • Avoid wearing thick-soled boots or heavy shoes, as you may be asked to remove them before entry. 

  • Refrain from wearing jewelry (chains, rings, bangles, large earrings) and metallic items.
