BITSAT 2026 Iteration V Result on August 1: What to Expect

The Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS) Pilani will announce the BITSAT Iteration V seat allotment 2026 on August 1. The round 5 results will be available after physical reporting for candidates allotted seats in BITSAT Iterations 1, 2, 3 and 4 concludes today, July 30. With students now completing campus reporting and final admission formalities, the institute will be able to clearly segregate the seats that have not been occupied yet. Vacancies arising due to candidates not reporting, withdrawing, or choosing other institutes will be considered for fresh allotment in Iteration 5.

Why BITSAT Iteration 5 is Important?

The BITSAT Iteration 5 is important as it is conducted after the counselling and reporting for rounds 1 to 4 is concluded. Candidates who are on waitlist will be able to see the following cases in this round:

• Fresh seat allotments in branches where vacancies arise.
• Upgrades to higher-preference programmes or campuses.

However, the highly sought-after courses such as Computer Science and Mathematics & Computing is less likely to see major changes. There are more chances of movement in dual degree and core engineering programmes depending on seat vacancies.

What Candidates Should Do?

Once Iteration 5 results are declared, candidates should immediately:

• Log in to the BITS admission portal using their credentials.
• Check whether they have received a fresh allotment or an upgrade.
• Complete the prescribed fee payment as per the deadline.
• Follow the reporting instructions mentioned in the admission offer. 

BITSAT 2026 Cutoff

BITS Pilani does not publish round-wise cut-offs immediately after each iteration. The authorities will update the closing scores for admissions only after the conclusion of BITSAT counselling 2026 for all rounds.
