Chhattisgarh Directorate of Technical Education has commenced the round 1 registration and choice filling process of CG PET counselling 2026. The counselling process is online and is hosted at cgdte.admissions.nic.in.

CG PET 2026 BTech counselling round 1 has started, with the last date to complete registrations and choice filling by July 6. Qualified candidates will have to register online at cgdte.admissions.nic.in to participate in the counselling and admission process. There will be 2 main rounds and one institutional round in the CG PET 2026 counselling.

To complete the CG PET counselling registration and choice filling, candidates have to follow the steps below:

• Registration: Visit the official Chhattisgarh Technical Education Counselling Portal and register with the details needed.
• Document Upload: Scan and upload necessary certificates (10th/12th marksheets, category certificate, domicile) as per the specified size and formats.
• Counselling Fee Payment: Pay the counselling fee online using net banking, credit/debit card, or UPI. Save the receipt for your records.
• Choice Filling: Log back in to select your preferred colleges and courses in order of priority. Lock your choices before the deadline; unlocked choices will not be considered.

Seat allotment will be done according to the candidate's rank in CG PET 2026 and seat availability. After allotment, candidates will have to confirm their admission before the last date. 

CG PET counselling Round 1 Merit List on July 7

The CG PET counselling merit list in round 1 will be published by the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) on July 7. To check the mrit rank, candidates have to:

1. Navigate to the Official DTE Admissions Site.
2. Look for the "Merit List" section under the B.Tech/Engineering category.
3. Click the relevant round (e.g., Round 1, Round 2, or Spot Round) to view or download the PDF.
